During worship band rehearsal this morning my friend and fellow musician Peter caught a glimpse of the book mark in my book of common prayer and asked who it was in the picture. That led to me sharing about my sponsor child Elsabeth from Ethiopia, and as he was asking how old she was I was thinking and I'm like, "oh, and her birthday is...today, wow!" Anyways, happy 13th birthday Elsabeth! I know that you're not able to get on the internet where you are, but I still want to acknowledge you and let everyone know how thankful I am that God gave me the opportunity to be your sponsor and bless you and your family with what He has freely given to me. Praise God from Whom all blessings flow! Please say a prayer for Elsabeth, her mom, and her siblings.
